The study programme is focussed on professional aesthetic laser medicine, i.e. the special aspects of a laser-technology assisted medicine in dermatology, maxillofacial surgery, ear, nose and throat medicine, ophthalmology, plastic and reconstructive surgery or dentistry. It teaches the basic principles of laser technology, laser physics and laser safety in practice, clinic and research. Not the least study subjects are also legal and business aspects, practice management and marketing as well as a comprehensive view of values and foundations of aesthetic medicine in the light of the humanities, social and cultural sciences. Study subjects and training requirements are assembled in a practice-oriented, scientific study catalogue that is the basis of the lectures, training units and the final exam.
