International Office
The International Office (German: Akademisches Auslandsamt, abbreviated AAA) is the university’s central institution for international matters. As well as coordinating most of the university’s international partnerships and cooperative projects, it develops and carries out projects and programmes with international partners.
Furthermore, it is responsible for advising and admitting prospective students from abroad. It also assists German students, graduates and scientists in organizing their stays abroad and their international projects.
The International Office assists foreign students enrolled at Greifswald University in study-related, legal and social issues. Together with a team of voluntary student tutors, it helps international students with the practical matters of life in Germany and offers a varied cultural programme that includes trips, films, national cultural evenings organized by students from the respective countries and other multicultural events.
