Studies and Research in Greifswald
Ever since 1456, students and academics have been drawn to the Hanseatic and University Town of Greifswald, on the shores of the Baltic Sea. Students can choose from a broad range of subject disciplines and over 90 degree courses that are provided by the Faculties of Theology, Medicine, Arts and Humanities, Law and Economics and Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Research at the University is centred around five key fields that approach topics and challenges of today's society. Furthermore, there are close ties to internationally recognised external research institutes.
