During Greifswald Summer, you have the option of living in a room in a hall of residence of the Studierendenwerk or looking for accommodation on your own.

The price of a room in a hall of residence for 4 weeks is approximately € 445.00. A room in a hall of residence usually includes a shared bathroom and a kitchen. An initial supply of bed linen and kitchen utensils is included in the price. Please bring a LAN cable to get internet access in your dormitory room, as you will not have access to the university's W-LAN in the dormitories.

If you would like to stay in a dormitory room, please indicate this in the application form. There is a limited contingent of dormitory rooms reserved for participants of the Greifswald Summer. We will forward your request to the Studierendenwerk and you will be contacted by the Studierendenwerk in the weeks after the application deadline. You will conclude the rental contract directly with them. The staff of the Studierendenwerk are also available to you during your stay.

Many students rent their room in a shared flat over the summer. A room in a shared flat is a great way to get to know Greifswald students. For example, you can look for a room for the summer at wg-gesucht. Please note that holiday flats and similar accommodation are in high demand in Greifswald during the summer. Therefore, you should look for accommodation as soon as possible.
