Programme

In the afternoons and evenings, we provide a varied programme of activities and small excursions: we want to aim high with treetop climbing, explore the underwater world at the Ozeaneum in Stralsund, step in Caspar David Friedrich's footsteps or relax at a barbecue at the museum harbour. Furthermore, we will explore the broad spectrum of German film and you can dive into Greifswald's student life with local students, the buddies.

If you would like to experience more of our region and Germany, you can also take part in our weekend excursions to the islands of Rügen and Usedom, as well as the wonderful Hanseatic city of Hamburg.

With its 1906 hours of sunshine, Usedom is well-known as Germany’s sunniest region. One part of the island belongs to Germany, the other part to Poland. We will stay at the ‘Colorado’ holiday park, where holidaymakers already spent their holidays back in the GDR. The park will be the starting point for walks to the famous ‘Imperial Spas’ such as Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf and shall also be the location for our evening barbecue. The visit to the high ropes climbing forest is a further highlight of our trip to Usedom.

Programme includes:

  • Walk along the beach from Ahlbeck to Bansin
  • Visit to the Seaside Resort of Heringsdorf
  • Afternoon on the beach in Bansin
