Please note: The application window for 2017/18 has been extended! The application portal will remain open until the 20/08/2017.
The University of Greifswald awards the Deutschlandstipendium to support top-performing students at the beginning of each year’s winter semester. The maximum number of scholarships that can be awarded depends on the number of students at the University.
Students from all faculties and disciplines can apply, who are expected to attain or have already gained excellent achievements during their studies and careers. The application must clearly be addressed to one faculty.
A scholarship amounts to € 300 per month. It is granted for at least one year.
The scholarships are allocated according to the basis provided by the act to create a national scholarship programme (Gesetz zur Schaffung eines nationalen Stipendienprogramms, Stipendienprogramm-Gesetz - StipG) of 21st July 2010 (Federal Law Gazette, BGBl. I p. 957), amended by article 1 of the act from 21st December 2010 (BGBl. I p. 2204); the ordinance on the implementation of the act on the national scholarship programme (Stipendienprogramm-Verordnung - StipV) of 20th December 2010 (BGBl. I p. 2197) and the University of Greifswald’s Statutes on the Allocation of Scholarships from the National Scholarship Programme of 24th May 2011.
