Legislative and Executive Powers at the University and in the Faculties
The University is governed by the Rectorate.This is made up of the Rector, who represents the University externally, both of the Pro-Rectors and the Registrar, the head of the University’s administration.
The Senate represents the whole of the University. It is elected by members of each of the University’s different groups. The five faculties are managed by the faculty management teams. The different groups are represented by the faculty councils. The Rectorate, the deans, the head of the Students' Union (SU) and the Equal Opportunities Officer meet once a week to guarantee that the different levels of the University are working together and to provide a constant exchange of information.
