The festival kicked off on Friday with a small welcome gathering at the Credner Anlagen. Participants were warmly welcomed and had the opportunity to get to know each other before heading out for a dragon boat tour on the Ryck River. The tour was organized with the support of HSG Uni Greifswald e. V. and provided a refreshing activity during this particularly warm weekend. The day concluded with a barbecue at the Löffler Campus.
On Saturday, participants took part in two engaging workshops. The first was hosted by Greifswald Model United Nations e. V. (GREIMUN). During this Interactive UN workshop, participants explored the structure and functioning of the United Nations through a fun simulation, taking on the roles of diplomats and putting their negotiation and diplomacy skills to the test.
Afterwards, an Arts & Crafts workshop encouraged participants to express their artistic talents and creativity. They designed and painted their own tote bags, resulting in some truly impressive works of art.
The festival concluded with a special highlight: the ESN International Student Ball, which, with the support of KreativEU, was held again for the first time since 2018.
