Student Halls of Residence Run by the Studierendenwerk (Student Services)
If you are studying in Greifswald, you can apply for a place in a student hall of residence run by the Studierendenwerk (Student Services). The Studierendenwerk manages seven student halls of residence with 740 places at various locations across the town.

Does this appeal to you? Then you should apply online for a place in a student hall of residence as soon as possible! You don’t need a certificate of enrolment or confirmation of acceptance for studies at this stage.
Important: Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. But it’s worth applying early on as places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The application period always begins six months before the start of the semester.
By the way: Studierendenwerk doesn’t just allocate place in its own halls of residence, they will also help you find a private room.
