The University of Greifswald actively contributes to sustainable development in a variety of ways. Sustainable and climate-friendly solutions are implemented consistently in campus management and university administration. In its research and teaching, the University addresses the challenges of transformation processes in society not only theoretically and conceptually, but also methodologically, and develops innovative, sustainable solutions for the transfer of knowledge and technology in application-oriented projects.

These diverse activities are made possible by the high level of commitment shown by the members of the university and by the continuous and constructive exchange on goals, measures and paths of development between all members of the university community.
