Research Faces: Hans Joosten
Peatlands are his passion: Peatlands expert and paeleoecologist, Hans Joosten, chairholder at the University of Greifswald, carries out research into peatland areas that not only reveal a suprisingly diverse nature, but also play a very important role for our climate. He also speaks out and contributes towards establishing a different kind of agriculture that doesn't destroy these marshland areas.
