Honorary Doctors of the University of Greifswald

The title of Honorary Doctor (Dr. h. c.) can be awarded by a faculty according to their doctoral regulations and on agreement with the Senate to a person who has delivered outstanding achievements for academia.

Medal of Honour of the University of Greifswald

According to the Basic Regulations of the University, the Medal of Honour can be awarded by the Rectorate, on agreement with the Reduced Senate, to individuals who have provided great services for the University of Greifswald.

Pomerania Nostra Prize

This binational prize honours personalities from the areas of art, science, economics or politics who have made outstanding contributions for the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and Vorpommern and have thus promoted the German-Polish dialogue.
