Partnerships and Cooperation Agreements
International partnerships have a long tradition in Greifswald. Ever since the University was founded, there has always been a keen exchange of academics, students and ideas, at first only in the Baltic Sea Region, but this soon extended to the rest of the world. Greifswald has signed more than 280 partnership agreements in the European ERASMUS+ network. Worldwide, the University of Greifswald maintains partnerships with universities in Canada, the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Japan and Australia.
