Successful Meetings and Warm Hospitality during Visit to Partner University in Adana

The visit focused on preparing for the mid-term report due in February 2027 and exploring new cooperation opportunities for the University of Greifswald. The delegation was deeply impressed by the hospitality of their partners and the cultural insights gained while visiting Adana, Tarsus, Mersin, and Gaziantep.

Professor Schiller, who participated in a KreativEU partner meeting for the first time and engaged in intensive discussions with other university governance teams, reflected on the experience: “I felt very welcome within the KreativEU family. The partner institutions offer diverse and exciting opportunities for cooperation, which become far more tangible through face-to-face discussions. I expect the newly launched seed funding calls to initiate joint research activities and the network conference in Greifswald in February 2027 to provide a significant impetus for deepening the alliance’s research cooperation.”

“As project coordinator, it is essential for me to visit all Alliance sites and engage directly with lecturers and researchers regarding potential teaching projects and research interests,” said Ms. Hartmann. “These personal impressions allow me to promote the partners and the Alliance more convincingly to the students and staff at the University of Greifswald. Furthermore, while our monthly video conferences are essential, these biannual in-person meetings are invaluable for driving the project forward through direct personal exchange with project management colleagues.”
