Visit by MEP Sabrina Repp to Greifswald

During the event, Ms. Repp spoke about her work in the European Parliament and offered insights into political processes in Brussels and Strasbourg. The discussion focused particularly on the relationship between European institutions and citizens on the regional level, as well as the question of how accessible and connected the European Union feels in everyday life.

What made the event especially engaging was the open and welcoming atmosphere throughout the discussion and Q&A session. Participants were encouraged to ask questions freely, and Ms. Repp answered them with notable openness and honesty. Her willingness to address both political challenges and personal experiences from her work in Brussels created an especially authentic and informative exchange.

One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the amount of practical and insider knowledge Ms. Repp brought from her experiences within EU institutions. This gave students a more direct understanding of European politics beyond theoretical discussions in the classroom.

Overall, the event provided an insightful and enjoyable opportunity for students to engage with European politics in a personal and approachable setting.
