The Rectorate and the Central Equal Opportunities Officer at the University of Greifswald are awarding the 2026 Gender Prize for an academic or artistic thesis that takes the gender perspective into account in a particularly significant way.
The prize money amounts to 500 euros.
Eligible for submission are academic theses and doctoral dissertations completed in 2026 and awarded a grade of ‘very good’, from the faculties of the University of Greifswald, including the Faculty of Medicine Greifswald (University Medicine). Please submit your thesis together with the assessments from your supervisors in a single PDF document by 31 December 2026 to the following address:
