Prof. Dr. Ralf Schneider is Director of the University Computer Centre and has been Chair of Computational Science at the University of Greifswald’s Institute of Physics since 2011. He is also the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and in this role is responsible for the strategic and operative management of information technology at the university. He has been Pro-Rector for Research, Digitisation and Transfer since February 2022.

Lukas Voigt is a master's student of politics at the University of Greifswald. He was Chairman of the AStA from 2022 to 2023 and has been a student senator for several years. He is delighted to have been elected Student Pro-Rector: “Recent years have shown how important it is for us to stand together as a university in times of crisis. As Student Pro-Rector, I plan to strengthen the bonds between the uni’s students, lecturers and members of staff and vow to go about approaching problems. I consider the lack of student housing in Greifswald to be one of the most urgent issues that we need to address in 2024.”
