The quintessence of the term sustainability is the preservation and protection of the ecological foundations of life. It encompasses ecological, economic, social and other aspects. Therefore, academics from all subject disciplines are encouraged to participate.
Dissertations and doctoral theses produced for any of the University of Greifswald’s faculties can be honoured with the award. The prerequisite is that the work was submitted in either 2023 or 2024. Dissertations and theses that were already submitted in the 2023 call cannot take part again.
The pieces of work can be submitted to the university’s Sustainability Officer, Dr. Tiemo Timmermann, as PDF files via email until 15 March 2024. Please also attach a PDF file containing a copy of both supervisors’ original examiner’s reports.
