“Zukunft Ukraine” - Scholarship Programme for Refugee Students from Ukraine

The aim of the programme is to support Ukraine by making a long-term and sustainable contribution to the qualification of Ukrainian students. In an ideal situation, Ukrainian students and early-career researchers shall receive the opportunity to complete their studies and gain the qualifications to help rebuild Ukraine’s economy, science and administration.

Students in bachelor's, master's and state examination programmes can receive up to 931 euros per month, doctoral students up to 1,200 euros. The scholarships can be awarded for a period of 12 to a maximum of 24 months.

Applications are open to students and doctoral candidates who have Ukrainian citizenship and had lived their everyday lives in Ukraine until 24 February 2022 and/or who have been at the University of Greifswald as exchange students since winter semester 2021/22, but were unable to return home due to the war and are now pursuing a degree at the University of Greifswald.
