1st KreativEU Day @ UG – A chance to exchange ideas and network

On 9 July 2026, the KreativEU team invited the whole university – students, lecturers, researchers and staff – to the 1st KreativEU Day @ UG during lunchtime.

The team had organised a poster session at which all team members presented the current status of work within the work packages of the European university alliance for which they are responsible within the UG team. They answered questions and provided information on ways to get involved. During lunch, participants could also network – both within the university and with representatives from the KreativEU partner universities, the Ukrainian Catholic University (one of KreativEU’s associated partners), as well as with representatives from the University of Rostock and Stralsund University of Applied Sciences, which are also members of European university alliances and, like the other participants, had come to the University of Greifswald for the workshop on Digital Teaching: Good Practice in European University Networks at the University of Greifswald.

The event once again highlighted the amazing opportunities available to UG members and how important personal exchange is for bringing the university alliance to life.

Particular attention should be drawn to these current KreativEU-wide initiatives:

  • WP2 Education – Pool of Supervisors: Collaborate with colleagues from the alliance and supervise students on their final dissertations and thereby discover exciting interdisciplinary projects. Here you will find the Pool of Supervisors and the registration form for the pool.
  • WP3 Research – Collaboration Hubs: Help determine, through your own research topics, which research groups are formed within KreativEU. Click here to register your research interests.
