Advice

One of our tasks is to advise future students of the university and those who are already enrolled. We would be happy to discuss all options with you if you are considering studying at the University of Greifswald. Furthermore, we advise you on the possibilities of disability compensation, the extension of the standard length of study, the postponement of or withdrawal from examinations as well as a leave of absence from studies. Just call and make an appointment for an advisory session.

Consultation hours:

From 29 April 2024 I will always be available for advisory sessions on Mondays from 2.00 p.m. - 4.00. p.m. However, prior arrangement via phone or email is required.

The advisory session can take place in fully accessible premises in the University Medicine’s main building (Ferdinand-Sauerbruch-Straße), the C_DAT in Felix-Hausdorff-Straße 3 or also online.

Individual appointments are also possible at other times by prior arrangement.

Target groups:

  • Students and prospective students with permanent disabilities, e.g. movement impairments, visual and hearing impairments, as well as their carers and accompanying persons.

  • Students with acute disability, such as a broken leg or arm with short-term physical impairments

  • Students with mental illnesses, e.g. anxiety disorders, depression
