“Climate-Friendly Organisation” Prize

The Rectorate and the Senate’s Sustainability Committee have been awarding the “Climate-Friendly Organisation at the University of Greifswald” prize since 2024. The prize money amounts to € 2000. All of the university’s organisational units (e.g. working groups, divisions, institutes, with the exception of University Medicine) are invited to submit suggestions for improving the carbon footprint or details of measures that have already been implemented. So far, the prize has been awarded to the University Library (2024) and the Environmental Physics Working Group (2025).
