At the DAAD workshop held in Greifswald from 24 to 26 November 2025, representatives from the University of Greifswald and Breda University of Applied Sciences met in person to explore opportunities for cooperation in the digital field. The programme included tours of the university computer centre and discussions on AI infrastructure. Partners from KreativEU universities joined selected meetings online.

Topics such as AI ethics, the development of AI infrastructure and free software were discussed. Technical details such as single sign-on and sustainability issues will be addressed in the future.

The face-to-face meetings, the tour of the computer centre and the direct communication with key people at the university computer centre were greatly appreciated by our guests, so that a long-term collaboration is being sought and next time a larger delegation could visit Greifswald.
