European research funding in Horizon Europe, Cluster 1 “Health”

The Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the University of Greifswald, and Greifswald University Hospital, together with the National Contact Point (NCP) for Health, invite you to an information event on European funding opportunities for health research. The focus is on funding within Cluster 1 “Health” of the EU research framework program “Horizon Europe.”

The event is aimed at researchers, project managers, and anyone else from the worlds of business, science, and administration who is interested. It consists of two parts. In the morning, the most important priorities of the cluster and the current funding topics of the 2026–2027 work program will be presented. After a lunch break with refreshments and an opportunity for networking, the afternoon will focus on the practical aspects of submitting an application. Participants will learn what is important for a successful application and gain insights into the structure of an EU application. A report from a successful applicant will round off the program. The event thus offers both basic information on the application process and in-depth insights into specific funding opportunities.

The event will be held in German and participation is free of charge.
