PC-Pool

Equipped with more than 30 computer workstations, the Language Centre’s computer suite at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 3 offers a wide range of media-related services. In the workspace, you can carry out internet-based research as well as submit print jobs and have them printed on site. As a lecturer, you also have the option of booking the entire PC pool or the slightly more secluded small seminar area for your classes. In addition, there is an area dedicated to media production, featuring specially equipped desktop PCs with video, audio and image editing software, as well as the capability to carry out independent scanning processes.

Authorised users

  • all students and staff at the University of Greifswald
  • external guests (upon application, provided there are places available or no member of the University of Greifswald claims the right to use them)

Opening hours

Opening hours during term time:

Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00

 

During the summer break, the computer centre is open at the following times:

Monday – Friday 12:00 – 18:00

Booking

A booking is required (unless you are an external visitor!).

However, when you arrive, you must register with the supervisory staff to use the services and show your university ID card.

A valid university account is also required to use the services.
