Digital Tools for Studying

The University of Greifswald provides several digital tools to help you organise your studies. We use a large range of open source software. The University Computer Centre has high security standards. There are secure cloud solutions, and your personal data is handled very sparingly and carefully. Wi-Fi & Co

There is good WiFi coverage in and around all university buildings. It is called eduroam and you can use it to connect to the internet at almost all European universities. If you have any questions, please contact the University's Computer Centre.

You will receive all important and official university notifications via email. It is therefore important to set up your email account right at the start of your studies and to check your emails regularly.
