About us

As a public archive, the University Archive serves the University’s research and teaching activities, its self-governance and the protection of its legal rights. The members of staff at the Archive preserve and index the documents and written records deemed worthy of being archived for the University. Apart from its general archiving duties, researching and communicating the University’s history are other important aspects of the work of the Archive.

The University Archive provides services for research and teaching purposes based on the archived materials in its collections. It provides information, advice and support to its users.
