The KreativEU Alliance provide students, researchers, teachers and administrative staff a broad range of continuing professional development offers and qualification programmes in the form of various types of courses. These are aimed at members of all partner universities within the Alliance. The events by the University of Greifswald within this framework are the responsibility of the KreativEU project team. Personal data will be processed during the organization and implementation of the events.

Purpose of Data Processing
In order to participate in the events, prior registration is required. Furthermore, the registration data is processed for the planning, realisation, follow-up and evaluation of the respective event.
In addition, the full name and other personal data of participants will be processed to produce the attendance certificate, other certificate and to compile statistics. Statistical evaluations are carried out exclusively on an anonymous basis.
Types of personal data:
- Registration details: given name(s), surname, email address, nationality, country of residence, institution, country of institution, selected event(s)
- Optional registration details: title, study level
- Attendance certificate and issue of certificate: given name(s), surname, title
Period of storage:
Personal data will be deleted after the confirmation of participation or other certificates have been issued.
Legal basis for the processing of data:
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data as described above is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. a GDPR.
Recipients of the personal data:
Your data will be processed by the KreativEU project team at the University of Greifswald, with whom you registered for an event.
External trainers commissioned by KreativEU:
If the offer you have chosen is being held by external trainers, they may act as processors within the meaning of the GDPR for the University of Greifswald. If applicable, your registration details will be transferred to the respective trainer, who might process them to prepare and carry out the offer. The contact information is available in the description of the respective offer.
Your rights with regard to data processing:
You are entitled to withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data at any time and without having to provide reasons, with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to receive information upon request and free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, the purposes, and the period of data processing. Furthermore, under certain circumstances, you have the right to the retification, restriction of the processing (e.g. blocking), erasure, and the data portability of your data.
