On 13 December 2025, KreativEU and its associate partner Greifswald Model United Nations (GreiMUN) e.V. collaborated to host the Saturday workshop ‘Intercultural Competence and Negotiation Skills Training’. The workshop is part of the GreiMUN e.V. seminar, which takes place during the winter semester of 2025/26, and serves to intensively prepare delegates for Model United Nations, the simulation of the United Nations, in terms of intercultural competence and successful negotiation. This year, the delegates will participate in Change the World MUN Rome, which will take place in Rome in February 2026. In addition to general training on communication and intercultural competence, the GreiMUN delegates dealt with German and thus their own cultural influences, as well as US and Italian culture. In negotiation training, they learned about the Harvard negotiation concept, including the strategy of building golden bridges, before applying negotiation techniques and strategies in a fictional scenario involving government and NGO representatives on the topic of foreign aid. KreativEU wishes the GreiMUN delegates every success in Rome.
