On 13 December 2025, KreativEU and its Associated Partner Greifswald Model United Nations (GreiMUN) e.V. held a Saturday workshop entitled "Intercultural Competence and Negotiation Skills Training." This workshop, which is part of the GreiMUN e.V. seminar running during the winter semester 2025/26, serves as an intensive preparation for delegates to Model United Nations, the simulation of the United Nations. It focuses on intercultural competence and successful negotiations. This year, the delegates will participate in the Change the World MUN Rome, which will take place in Rome in February 2026. In addition to general training on communication and intercultural competence, the GreiMUN delegates explored their own German cultural influences as well as the US and Italian cultures. During the negotiation training, they were introduced to the Harvard Negotiation Concept, including the "Building Golden Bridges" strategy, before applying these negotiation techniques and strategies in a fictional scenario on Foreign Aid involving government and NGO representatives.
