Preparation of the e-examination

Log into the examination instance Exam

Students must log into the examination platform Exam once in order to register for the examination course and be able to access the examination. 

Students should follow these steps: 

1. Access the page: https://exam.uni-greifswald.de  

2. Click on “Shibboleth Login” and enter your central username and password. 

Prepare your account in advance in case you forget your password

You can reset your password via the account management at ums.uni-greifswald.de.  

Requirement: you must have saved a second email address (emergency email address) in the account management.

If you are worried that you might forget your password on the examination day, we recommend that you check in advance whether you have saved an emergency email address in the account management that you will be able to access on examination day.

Know your login details

Please make sure you know your username and password in order to be able to access the e-examination.

(optional) Bring your own mouse

The laptops are equipped with a touchpad. If you would prefer to use a mouse, please bring it with you to the e-examination. Please note that only a USB type A or USB type C port is compatible with the exam laptops.
