The future of teaching is hybrid! Some education experts already believe this to be the case. By simultaneously linking virtual and physical spaces to create hybrid spaces, new learning potential is unlocked, characterized by flexibility and location independence. At the same time, however, new requirements arise. Whether it is a learning setting with little interaction (e.g., lectures) or a learning setting with a lot of interaction (e.g., exercises or seminars), teachers are faced with the challenging task of designing the course in such a way that the basic requirements are the same for all participants and both groups can be given the same attention. In addition to technical room equipment, this requires didactically reflective preparation.
In this workshop, we will reflect on the special features of hybrid teaching scenarios and learn about different possibilities for didactic implementation.
