What do Campus Specialists do?

As Campus Specialists, we are students at the University of Greifswald and help people out who have any questions to do with studying or life in the University and Hanseatic town. Whether school pupils, prospective students, freshers or students who have been here for longer - we’ll be happy to answer any questions concerned with studies and life in Greifswald.

I am studying: 2015-2019 B.Sc. Biomathematics [de] , since 2019 M.Sc. Health Care Management [de]
In Greifswald since: September 2014
My specialist areas: General study advice, especially natural sciences, life in Greifswald.
What I like about my degree in Greifswald: good specialisation options, closeness to lecturers, interdisciplinarity.
What I like about Greifswald: Greifswald is a university surrounded by an atmospheric, lively town with rural, maritime surroundings; commitment inside or outside the university is very possible due to short distances and a student-oriented corporate culture.

Anna Dahmen

I am studying: B.A. Communication Studies [de] and Economoics [de], since 2019 M.A. Organisational Sciene [de] 
In Greifswald since: Winter semester 2015/2016
My specialist areas: Arts/humanities, especially communication, economics, social involvement and life in Greifswald
What I like about my degree in Greifswald: The good supervision during the studies due to small seminars, the hands-on aspect of my degree.
What I like about Greifswald: Spending summer days/ evenings at the beach, the vibrant student culture which makes it easy to get to know a lot of other people.

My specialist areas: General study advice, in particular communication and humanities, social commitment
What I like about my degree in Greifswald: The balanced mix of theoretical and practical aspects, the great support from the lecturers and the friendly atmosphere in the degree programme.
What I like about Greifswald: The short distances, the vicinity to nature and the Baltic Sea, as well as the diverse possibilities for entertainment.

In Greifswald since: Winter semester 2019/20
My specialist areas: General study advice, Communication and Economics, life in Greifswald, international aspects.
What I like about my degree in Greifswald: The combination of economical and health related subjects and the cooperation with the University Hospital, the pleasant learning environment in small goups, the University's many traditions.
What I like about Greifswald: The fresh air and short distances, the feeling of being home, the town's historic centre and the vicinity to the sea.
