Information on Exam Registration at the University of Greifswald
Deadlines, requirements, forms and important information for successful registration for the degree course Law leading to an Erste juristische Prüfung (First Law Exam)
Examination registration for the winter semester 2025/2026 is limited to the period from
22 September to 26 October 2025
(registration deadline). You can only register for and, if necessary, deregister from your exams during this period. After that, withdrawal from an exam is only possible under certain requirements. It must be requested in writing from the Central Examination Office (see § 8 PO ReWi). Please check that your examinations have been entered correctly in the portal ("My functions" > "Exam administration" > "Information on registered examinations") after you have registered or deregistered.
If you have any questions, notice any discrepancies and/or experience technical problems, please contact the Central Examination Office immediately (preferably via email).

The deadline does not apply
for the registration of ungraded coursework. You can register or deregister this kind of coursework at any time via the portal.
for the core subject, the area of specialisation and the additional qualification in the Law degree course (Staatsexamen (State Examination)). Please note the separate registration procedure including deadlines.

To avoid discrepancies and delays at a later date, please regularly check your data control sheet ("My functions" > "Certificates of enrolment") to ensure that your personal data is up to date and fully corresponds to the data on your national ID card (§ 28 ImmaO).
