Project for the Introduction of E-Administration at the University of Greifswald

The administration of the University of Greifswald will be digitised step by step over the next few years. In the course of this conversion, existing processes will be incorporated and optimised in order to utilise synergy effects and to use digitisation as an opportunity to standardise processes and map them in central systems.

Legal framework conditions such as the amendment of the e-government law M-V 2021 and also the EU regulation on the acceptance of e-invoices play a major role in this. However, the introduction of e-administration should not only be seen as a legal requirement, but also as an opportunity to reduce bureaucracy and modernise. The digital potential can and must be used to increase effectiveness in order to make the best use of scarce resources. The University of Greifswald must not lose touch with other universities.

It is therefore not a question of "if" and "when", but a question of "how".
