The University of Greifswald’s E-Examination Centre

The Digital Education Department launched the E-Examination Centre with the publication of the General Study Examinations (RPO) on 26 April 2022. The goal is to hold digital written examinations (e-examinations) in rooms on the university premises that are equipped with the necessary technology, platforms that comply with the required data protection and examination modalities, as well as support structures.

Following prior registration, the E-Examination Centre enables e-examinations on up to 170 laptops (incl. replacement devices) in the lecture hall building at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 6 (lecture hall 1 to 4), 30 PCs in SR 1.12 (computer room) at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 3, and up to 30 laptops (incl. replacement devices) at Ernst-Lohmeyer-Platz 3, e.g. in the language labs 2.12 and 2.13.

The e-examination can be configured either in Moodle on the examination instance Exam, or in the evaexam system. In order to make sure the examination runs smoothly, the final version of the e-examination is checked one week prior to the examination date.

You need to schedule 30 minutes extra prior to and after the e-examination for setting up and clearing away the examination (60 minutes each for 60 participants or more).

Please follow the steps for registering an e-examination.
