Hochschulen zeigen Haltung

University of Greifswald also Taking a Stand in Nationwide Campaign

Statement from the University of Greifswald

The University of Greifswald sees itself as a university that is open to the world. The freedom of research and teaching constitutes an indispensable foundation of our democracy. Universities are places for open exchange, scientific curiosity and critical thinking. Freedom of science, open-mindedness and internationality are crucial for this.

That is why the University of Greifswald is firmly committed to providing an open-minded, supportive and free scientific university culture. When these values come under threat, we take joint action. As a state-financed institution we maintain our party-political neutrality.
