Staff Representatives

The interest representatives for the employees of the University of Greifswald

There are three staff councils at the University of Greifswald: the General Staff Council, the Staff Council for Non-Academic Staff and the Staff Council for Academic Staff. They fulfil their duties in accordance with the provisions of the Staff Representation Act for the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (PersVG M-V).

The Representatives for Disabled Employees is the point of contact for all matters that affect an individual or severely disabled persons as a group.

The staff councils and the Representatives for Disabled Employees are elected by the members of the employee group they represent for a period of four years.

Whistleblowers, i.e. persons who have obtained information about violations in connection with their professional activities or in advance of a professional activity, can contact these internal reporting centres to submit reports.
