General Staff Council
The members of the General Staff Council were elected to their positions in May 2021 for a period of four years. The inaugural meeting took place on May 18, 2021. The chairperson and the other members of the General Staff Council serve in their roles on a voluntary basis. They are dedicated to effectively representing the interests of the employees of the University of Greifswald and are available as points of contact at all times.
The GPR (General Staff Council) advises on matters of general interest to its employee groups and also provides support in individual cases. Please exercise your right and reach out to us in a timely manner if you encounter any issues - we are here to assist you. Naturally, all members are bound by confidentiality and discretion.
Meeting Times
The meetings of the General Staff Council typically take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.
Office Hours
Due to staffing shortages, we are currently unable to offer regular office hours and consultations. However, please feel free to schedule an appointment by phone or email.

The staff representatives of the University of Greifswald and University Medicine Greifswald are separate bodies.
