Flexitime for non-academic staff

You can arrange your working hours relatively flexibly. Outside the core working hours, you are free to decide when you would like to start and end your hours as long as you complete them within the framework hours (from 7.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.). The core working hours are the time during which you have to be present. That is Monday to Thursday from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m., as well as Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

From 1 June to 30 September, the framework hours start at 6.00 a.m. From Monday to Thursday, the core working hours thus end at 2.30 p.m. and on Friday at 11.30 a.m., meaning that you can spend some of the summer time at the beach, in the sun, and with your family.

Recording of work hours

You will have to keep track of the hours you have worked. On your timesheet, write down the start of your working hours, the duration of your lunch break and other interruptions as well as the end of your working hours. At the end of the month, submit the document to your line manager/superior.
