KreativEU Seed Funding – UG Medium-Scale Project Calls 2026
The KreativEU Seed Funding Initiative aims to support researchers, students, and stakeholders in developing medium-scale cutting-edge and bottom-up educational, research, artistic, entrepreneurial, technological, and societal projects across countries and disciplines, thereby jointly creating new knowledge.
Based on these overall objectives, the University of Greifswald hereby announces three Medium-Scale Project Calls with the following Foci:
A: One Health and Transformation Processes
- Development of inclusive one-health narratives to enhance public engagement
- Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in disease surveillance and care
- Preventative strategies for nutrition, infectious diseases, and mental health
- Sustainable and equitable health-centric mobility planning
- Establishing equity-based metrics for the implementation of one health
B: Rural Areas and Eco-Cultural Identity
- Accessibility of public services
- Cultural identity
- Adaptive infrastructure in rural areas of the EU
- Rural areas as enabling environments
C: Resilience Beyond Restoration: How European Societies Adapt, Transform and Endure in an Age of Polycrisis
- Resilience of the social fabric: cultural practices, cohesion, and trust
- Resilience of civil society in the face of catastrophes and compound crises
- Resilience of democratic systems and political institutions
- Resilience in international relations: alliances, multilateralism, and conflict management
- Resilience of economies: supply chains, local value creation, and adaptive markets
- Resilience of digital and critical infrastructure
Funding grant:
up to € 22,500.00
Time Table:
- Launch of calls: 14 September 2026
- Deadline for project proposal submission: 13 November 2026, 23:59:59 (CET)
- Period for evaluation of submitted proposals: 16 November 2026 - 14 December 2026
- Announcement of preliminary results: 15 December 2026
- Period for further development of submitted proposals: 16-17 December 2026
- Announcement of final results: 21 December 2026
- Period for forming project partnership contracts: 4-31 January 2026
- Project implementation period: 1 February 2027 - 31 July 2028
