Understanding receptor-ligand interactions at a molecular level; Implications for immune responses

Fokus: GESUNDHEIT & LEBEN

The immunogenicity of a biomolecule, and particularly how T cell receptors or NK cell receptors interact with human leukocyte antigens (HLA) presenting specific epitopes, is profoundly shaped by its structural characteristics. Understanding the relationship between molecular structure and dynamics of interactions should allow us to assess and predict the immunogenic potential of HLA-restricted peptides. By integrating structural and dynamic data with immunological outcomes, we aim to bridge the gap between molecular design and immune function.
