The Moodle learning management system is used at the University of Greifswald as a digital course environment for the associated course. Your courses can be designed there attractively, interactively and in a way that promotes learning, and this environment works like a closed website. The platform is often still used purely as a file repository for PowerPoint slides and preparatory reading. But Moodle offers a wide range of activities that enable self-directed, independent and collaborative work and thus supporting the learning process.
In this workshop we will help you get started with the technical operation of Moodle. We look on the process of how to apply for a Moodle course, the Moodle course configuration, we discuss the structure in a service and lesson area and move towards the choice of suitable activities and didactic uses. Lay the foundation with this workshop and use Moodle beyond just storing files!
This course in English is already part of the upcoming KreativEU training programme to be offered via the KreativEU Centre for Excellence in Digital Education and AI. See this website for more information on KreativEU. More details on the training programme will follow soon.
