"Forschung vernetzt" 2022 - Expertise | Dialogue | Ideas

Wednesday, 22nd June 2022 | 9:00-14:00 | Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg

Do you have an idea for an interdisciplinary research project and are looking for project partners? Are you open to new project collaborations?

The workshop event „Forschung vernetzt“ is intended to initiate and promote interdisciplinary networking and thus joint interdisciplinary research projects. Professors and post-doctoral researchers of the University of Greifswald and at institutions of the Science Net Greifswald are invited to contribute their ideas to the event. You can present your own interdisciplinary research interests or respond to the presentations of your colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to raise research ideas without revealing your concrete idea to the general public.

After the first successful workshop in presence in 2019, followed by a digital edition in 2020, we would like to welcome you back in presence after a break due to the pandemic!
This time, the event is divided into two thematic blocks, during which you can present your ideas in the form of pitches (5 min.) - either big-data-focused in Session I or open-topic in Session II - and interact with other scientists. In addition, we want to offer enough time for discussions in an open atmosphere.

Scientific Head: Prof. Dr. Ralf Schneider | Pro-Rector of the University of Greifswald (Responsible for Research, Digitisation and Transfer)
Workshop Language: English

Session I: Working with big data- Interdisciplinary challenges and solutions
Session II: open-topic

Please send us your expressions of interest via the  profile sheet  to  forschung-vernetztuni-greifswaldde  by June 7th, 2022.  We will use this information to put together the programme. If the number of registrations exceeds the available capacities, a qualified selection will be made, about which we will inform you in a timely manner after the registration deadline.

Be there and present your research idea with a pitch or simply keep an eye out for new networking opportunities and potential cooperation partners!
